Subscribe, restore, cancel
FriendTrack Pro is bought through your app store — the App Store on iPhone, Google Play on Android — and not from FriendTrack directly. That decides most of what follows: the price, the currency, the receipt, the renewal and the cancellation all belong to the store.
Subscribe
- Open the Profile tab and tap FriendTrack Pro.
- Choose Monthly or Annual. The annual plan is the cheaper of the two per month, and the screen says by how much.
- Tap the purchase button and confirm with your store account as usual.
Pro takes effect immediately. The price shown is your store’s price in your own currency, which is why this page does not quote one.
About free trials
Whether you get a trial is your store’s decision, not the app’s. Both stores grant an introductory offer at most once per store account, so somebody who has subscribed before — including somebody resubscribing after a lapse — is usually not eligible.
So the app states a trial only when the store has confirmed it will grant one to your account. If you see no trial mentioned, that is the honest answer for your account rather than an omission, and the plain price is what you will be charged. Nothing is lost by this: if the store does consider you eligible, it grants the trial regardless of what the app says.
Restore on a new phone
Your subscription follows your store account, not your phone and not your FriendTrack account. On a new phone, sign into FriendTrack with the same phone number, then:
- Open Profile → FriendTrack Pro.
- Tap Restore purchases.
Use the same store account you bought it with. A subscription bought on an iPhone does not carry to an Android phone, or the other way round — the two stores are separate purchases and neither can see the other’s.
Cancel
Cancel in the store, not in the app: FriendTrack cannot cancel a subscription it did not sell.
- iPhone — Settings, your name, Subscriptions.
- Android — the Play Store app, Payments and subscriptions.
You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for; cancelling is not a refund and does not cut it short. When it does end, nothing you made is deleted — see if your subscription lapses.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store, under the store’s own policy, and FriendTrack cannot issue one. Ask through the App Store or Google Play.
If a purchase does not show up
First try Restore purchases, on the same store account you bought with. If Pro still does not appear, it is worth writing, because whether the charge actually completed is visible from the server and the store and not from your phone — the screen looks the same either way. Write to support@friendtrack.net with which store you bought from, roughly when, and the phone number you sign into FriendTrack with.
