Which countries can sign in

FriendTrack accepts phone numbers from a specific list of countries, and the selector on the sign-in screen is that list. Open the app, tap COUNTRY, and what you see there is exactly what the app will accept — nothing is hidden behind it and nothing in it will fail for being unsupported.

This page deliberately does not reproduce the list. The list is served to the app rather than built into it, which means it can grow without an app update and that a list written here would be a second version of the truth, silently wrong the day the first one changes. The selector cannot go out of date; a paragraph can.

If your country is not in the selector, you cannot sign in yet. That is not a fault on your phone and there is nothing to work around: signing in needs a text message, and sending texts to a country is something that has to be arranged and paid for one country at a time. A number from another country will be refused rather than accepted and left unable to receive a code.

Note that being able to sign in and being able to find FriendTrack in your app store are two separate lists, and the store’s is the narrower of the two — so a country you can sign in from is not necessarily one you can install from yet.
