FriendTrack shows you and your friends on a map of the place you are actually in — a festival site, a ski area, a venue — for as long as you choose to share your Position (what other apps call your location), and no longer.

There are two sets of pages here, and they are for two different jobs.

Using FriendTrack on your phone

Joining a Group, sharing for a length of time you pick, reading what the map is telling you about your friends, and stopping.

Using FriendTrack is the way in.

Building a venue Map

Uploading an image of a venue, placing Anchor Points so that it lines up with the real world, drawing Areas of Interest on it, and publishing it for other people to install. This happens in the Map Editor, in a browser, and it is a job of its own rather than an advanced corner of the app.
